Karen Dietz Interiors is a full service design company. We have been serving the San Antonio community since 1999. The merchandising of model homes and working side by side with San Antonio builders is at the head of our business. However, we offer a variety of services including new home surface selections, remodeling, custom draperies, faux finishes, space planning, furniture selection and much, much more. KAREN
Owner & Interior Designer
This award-winning designer is proud to celebrate 23 years in business, serving the building and private clientele communities in the San Antonio area. After receiving her degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A & M University, she found her true passion in interior design and pursued an education at St. Mary’s University. From there, she has worked in many capacities in the design realm starting her career at a local design firm and moving onto managing the design center of a prestigious homebuilder and finally owner and designer at KD Interiors. Karen is an Allied ASID member as well as belonging to the Greater San Antonio Area Builders Association, Texas Builders Association and National Association of Home Builders. She is dedicated to excellent design with outstanding customer service.
KELSEY
Interior Designer For Custom Homes
Kelsey was born and raised in the small town of Seguin, Texas, home of the world’s largest pecan. After graduating high school, she moved to San Antonio to pursue a career in interior design and isn’t turning back! She graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. In her experience, Kelsey has found a passion for the building selection process and getting to see the home come to life from start to finish. She thrives on customer service and ensuring the clients' vision and expectations are not only met but exceeded.

Interior Designer For Builders, Home Models, & Private Clients
Analicia a seasoned Interior Designer based in San Antonio, Texas. With a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Environmental Design from the University of the Incarnate Word, she has been transforming residential spaces since 2013. Driven by a passion for creating beautiful, personalized environments, Analicia specializes in furnishings, lighting, and custom residential design. Her expertise allows her to craft timeless, unique spaces that reflect the individuality of her clients. Through a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, Analicia is constantly trying to evolve with all the new developing design styles to make fresh and modern spaces.

SHELLY
Shelly grew up in Waco, TX and had a passion for design from a young age. She attended the University of North Texas where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design. She started her career in restaurant design, construction, and project management. Her genuine love of home and family ultimately led her to residential design and KDI. She loves helping clients create comfortable, inviting, and timeless spaces that their families can enjoy.

KAYLA
After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design, my wide-ranging experience spans from essential positions at top interior firms to extensive renovations up to 25,000 sq. ft. and custom new-build construction. Here I am, a few years later, transforming lives by transforming homes. I enjoy a good laugh, a fun jam session, the company of friends who feel like family, and unwinding with my little family at the end of the day. My work is personal and I aspire to light up people’s lives by creating out-of-the-ordinary, refreshing interiors. Interior Design does not stop at aesthetics; it goes far beyond what the eye can see. It translates the emotion and feeling a space embodies and surpasses the functional needs of the users. Helping people feel their best in their space is what feeds my soul.
MICHAELA
Operations Manager
Michaela, an Illinois native has worked as an Operations and Project Coordination Professional for over 6 years, gaining experience in a variety of settings with a variety of people. She has been in Austin since 2016 and is proud to call Texas her home. She enjoys collaborating with vendors, peers, and clients to achieve maximum project outcomes from start to finish. Being introduced to the interior design field has given her a new passion for helping the KDI designers create beautiful spaces for their clients and homeowners.
FERNANDA
Interior Designer
Fernanda brings over a decade of experience in interior design and home remodeling to KDI. After studying design at The Art Institute of San Antonio, she began her career in the home retail space before moving on to new custom home construction and existing home remodeling. Fernanda has provided design on projects big and small, across both residential and commercial spaces, as small as a few hundred square feet commercial spaces and as large as 5500 square feet new residential construction. Fernanda brings not only decades-old passion and perspective to her work, but a strong commitment to developing long-term relationships with both clients and vendors. And always looking to develop her eye for exceptional and unique design while bringing her best possible self to every client engagement, you just may run into Fernanda at a painting, drawing or culinary class, hiking National Parks or assisting children and adults with disabilities in therapeutic horsemanship skills.
